Position Summary

  • Lead process improvement teams independently at the regional or global level utilizing Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Mentor process improvement project leads within the business.
  • Mentor new Black Belts with minimal supervision.
  • Work with all levels of the business to identify improvement opportunities to drive efficiency, quality and cost savings that will improve the organizations profitability.
  • Utilizing data provide guidance and influence leadership to prioritize projects with the greatest impact on efficiency, quality and cost savings that will improve the organizations profitability.
  • Drive process improvement culture within the business.

Essential Qualifications

  • Ability to perform advanced computer skills and learn new programs (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using project planning, scheduling, and tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to train one/one and large groups and experience facilitating teams.
  • Skilled in concise writing and writing should require no external review or edit.
  • Ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels of management, senior scientists and support teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, client interfacing skills, conflict management skills, and change facilitation skills.
  • Understanding of financial analysis.
  • Estimating and setting project goals and milestones.

  • Ability to work independently with very little supervision.

 

  • Bachelor of Science/Arts (BS/BA).
  • Experience may be substituted for education. For example, a two-year Associate degree plus 2 years applicable experience may be substituted for a BS/BA degree.

 

 

  • Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma BB Certification or ability to obtain certification in 1 year.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
