Field/ consultative sales supporting OrthoSensor products and building the company’s leadership in surgical, implantable and analytics businesses. Clinical, technical and product knowledge sales and support to existing and new customers.  Building and maintaining successful customer relations by providing training/education to ensure fast product market adoption and sustainable product development/ growth. 





  • Generate revenue by selling single use surgical products, intelligent implants, and analytics to diagnose, monitor, and treat various musculoskeletal medical conditions
  • Increase physician, hospital and OEM partner interest in OrthoSensor technology
  • During and following cases:
    • Complete all necessary documentation (implant registration, incident reports, and OrthoSensor QA)
  • Conduct regular sales calls and maintain high level communications to serve as an effective company representative to physicians, hospitals and OEM partners regarding OrthoSensor products, services and support
  • Devise/present sales plans and strategies on a quarterly basis to management team
  • Develop and maintain relations with strategic accounts and Key Opinion Leaders
  • Periodically attend trade shows and conferences to maximize sales and market exposure



  • Provide technical product expertise to ensure proper device selection/use, installation and management of systems and analytics software, and documentation of OrthoSensor technology in OR. 
  • Provide educational support with OEM partners demonstrating effective use of technology
  • Receive technical inquiries, complete required follow-up, and provide appropriate solutions in a timely matter.



  • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and manufacture partners on all matters relating to use of our products.  Field education includes:
    • One-on-one training sessions
    • In-service education programs
    • Seminars and/or conferences


Other Responsibilities

  • Maintain current competitive knowledge of existing and impending intraoperative instruments, image guided/ navigation, robotics and general orthopedic joint market developments
  • Prepare and deliver customer training/education materials
  • Utilize OrthoSensor sales management and customer relationship management software to track and maximize performance
  • Develop deep understanding of hospital operational challenges associated with management of orthopedic devices to include point of use capture, surgical charting, purchasing, replenishment and billing.  Develop basic knowledge of hospital information systems.
  • Maintain open, effective communication with all OrthoSensor customers, partners and other OrthoSensor employees regarding product acceptance, field performance, and feedback
  • Take on leadership responsibilities as necessary
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


    • BS/BA in Business/Marketing or Science related discipline

    • 5+ years proven successful medical sales experience in a technical field sales role required

    • Prior experience with implantable device sales in orthopedics required

    • Working knowledge of information technology (especially cloud computing) and consumer electronics preferred

    • Solid sales targets planning and territory management skills 

    • Solid knowledge and ability to detail technical/ clinical and market development strategies to surgeons, and hospital administration

    • Excellent interpersonal and business presentation skills

    • Strong written and oral communication skills

    • Ability to demonstrate integrity, adaptability and strong work ethic

    • Results oriented with an impeccable discipline and excellent customer service skills

    • Lift/ carry 20-30 pounds, sit/stand// walk 7-8 hours/ day

    • Environmental exposures: eye protection, infectious disease

    • Ability to travel 50% -75%
