JOB DESCRIPTION

A leading company in the medical device industry is currently seeking a Sales Director to join their team. The role will be challenging but also highly rewarding and this leader will be a key voice in the company. For the right executive, this is a fantastic opportunity with great growth prospects. Job responsibilities include:

1) Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas
2) Interact with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
3) Research and analyze sales options
4) Develop key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans
5) Build and maintain strong and long-lasting customer relationships
6) Identify business opportunities and prospects
7) Establish contacts and develop relationships with prospects and recommend solutions
8) Meet and exceed annual sales targets
9) Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
10) Determine gross profit plans by implementing marketing strategies
11) Implement national sales programs by developing sales action plans
12) Manage changing trends, economic indicators and competitors
13) Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs and competition
14) Complete national sales operational requirements
15) Attend educational workshops and review professional publications
16) Perform other duties as assigned

CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
    2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
    3) Recent experience in the medical device industry is strongly preferred
    4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in sales management
