Our client, a leading medical device company, is currently seeking an accomplished Territory Sales Manager to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:

1) Achieve assigned sales objectives and profit goals
2) Implement company’s sales strategies in all market segments
3) Assist and support in-services, training programs and independent representative
4) Provide feedback on programs to sales management and marketing
5) Support national account initiatives in assigned territory
6) Provide competitive data to assist in contract bid process
7) Meet or exceed targeted sales quotas
8) Ensure spending remains within targeted expense guidelines
9) Respond to customer questions and requests in a timely manner
10) Provide feedback to sales management and marketing on requests by customers on company’s present policies
11) Assist customers through changes with new or discontinued products
12) Take ownership of assigned territory
13) Support local and national conferences in assigned territory
14) Represent the company in a professional manner that enhances its image to the customers
15) Provide weekly and monthly reports of sales targets and calls
16) Utilize software system accurately and in a timely manner
17) Prepare correspondence, proposals and bid packages as necessary
18) Provide new product ideas from customers to Sales and Marketing management
19) Participate in all assigned calls and meetings
20) Review sales and targets with immediate supervisor on weekly basis
21) Submit expense reports accurately and in a timely manner
22) Participate in all assigned company training
23) Study and thoroughly understand all clinical and selling literature
24) Evaluate and review all sales calls and presentations in order to improve performance
25) Complete required training in a timely manner
26) Assist other Sales and Marketing staff with their duties as requested
27) Assist with other projects as requested by a member of management


  • 1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
    2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
    3) Recent experience in the medical device industry is strongly preferred
    4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in sales management
